Once again forming a group for PTS 5, same setup as before.

Just like yesterday we'll be testing IS vs Clan unquirked as well as the rest of the changes on the PTS.

The group will not drop until we have a minimum of 4v4, but we're hoping to reach 7v7 and 10v10 if possible.

Tests started with 5v5's.

Need bodies to get up to 8v8.

It would be a good idea to make a kind of "Summary list" to all facts, discovered during this weekend testing.
No suggestions or other sh1t, just clear facts: CERLL>CLPL, CDHS boating meta, all this stuff.

What we learned:

• Heat penalties encourage DPS builds

• Higher dissipation and lower cap means 'Mechs which can boat heat-sinks are the best.

• Clan ERML DPS meta inbound with current trajectory.

• IS severely under-gunned until you get to the upper weights where Clans get slot-capped.

• IS lasers pretty much garbage across the board (surprise, right?)

• Clan ERLL is OP, Clan LPL is worthless. Actually, all Pulse lasers for both sides have no utility.

• Lights side-step the new system, more or less.

• Skill and teamwork OP.

Pretty much this.

Also to add: Gargoyle 30 heat sink overlords inbound.

With the current way the game is set up on PTS. High armored mechs like the gargoyle do not need to fear alphas, making it safer them to run around and soak damage while dealing incredible dps with 8 ERML and 30 heat sinks.
