Well, the 4R is the best ranged light on the IS side (GMan has it alone in Tier 1) and is surprisingly flexible. The typical build is 3LL/2ML but it can also do triple LPL, Gauss&5ML or even 5MPL with max std engine. The 5P can dakka pretty well (though symmetrical and low arms is not ideal) and the 4P carries an AC/20 pretty well. The 5D is pretty meh, but overall it's a solid chassis and the 4R is an absolute standout, having basically replaced the WVR-6K in serious play in the same role.

I do more DPG in my Shadow Hawk than I do in my Marauder. Also a mystery.

Truth.
Though I have found that (recently anyways) that the much hated PHX fills that purpose a bit closer than the CDA.

Huh! I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right. I run a 3ERLL/ECM PXH-1B that I like quite well. I have thought of it more as a "super RVN-3L," but the SHC comparison works, I just hadn't connected it.
