How about a mission in the tutorial where you have to walk in formation... or simply walk to a point without bumping into other mechs along the way (as a semi obstacle course). And then a cbill bonus version where the other mechs are moving.
Likewise, one in which you have to time or adjust your weapons wire so you don't hit allies near your target, or between you and the target. And again, a cbill bonus version where things are moving.
You know, teaching and strongly incentivizing players not to do the sort of behavior that pisses us all off. I figure, if you're going to graduate from the academy, learning how not to crash or shoot your own side really ought to be strongly emphasized as core curriculum.
