I'm one of those people who spends 4 hours at a time on Pandora or YouTube looking for new music.

I might as well ask some mech fanatics what they listen to. I need some heavy music that I can listen to while I'm crushing mechs in my atlas. (I thought there was a thread somewhere that discussed music, but I can't seem to find it)

I has your music? Any genre will do. Just.... no Rick Ashley please.

Heh, anyone remember this?

These first two are the closest match for MW4's guitar heavy soundtrack I can think of.

The rest are just random stuff I could imagine playing in the bg of a mech game.

edit - almost forgot the riff from this mw4 song

It might have been inspired by the riff from this.

I was writing a paper on the use of music as a torture device when I found this. Imagine listening to this over and over for days. And also imagine that you are a few hundred years behind when it comes to music (they used it on radical Muslims that were native to rural areas of the middle east, their brains simply weren't ready to interpret this kind of music, it must have been hellish for them). They used Metallica and other bands too. Its actually pretty interesting, its worth a google.

Is it true that plants with classical music played near them grow healthier than plants subjected to death metal?

Basically everything by Shiro Sagisu https://en.m.wikiped...ki/Shirō_Sagisu is absolutely wonderful. The JoJo OSTs are really good as well. If it wasn't 4 AM I'd heap stuff on you, but I'm half asleep and using a phone. I'll try to remember to come back when I'm awake bearing the scary amount of stuff I have.

i cant get enough of this

its like geddy lee and tom araya had sex, and the resulting mutant offspring were repeatedly molested by members of early mayhem, then grew up watching star trek and then decided to start a thrash band after lemmy introduced them to speed.

Gonna spoiler tag this because it's going to be a bit big.

Spoiler

I'd put more, but I'm getting dragged away to watch something with a family member.

Plant growth and vibration.

Any kind of vibration has an effect on living things that are growing, I don't know if you can grow a Mozart plant with classical music though.
