From today's patch note:

"• Zoom: Fixed an issue where entering Zoom Level 1 could momentarily cause Zoom Level 2 to appear.
• Zoom: Fixed an issue where quickly entering Zoom Level 2 could momentarily cause Zoom Level 1 to appear after reaching Zoom Level 2."

I always thought this was because of my scroll wheel messing up somehow! (I bound my zoom to scroll wheel of my mouse) Good to know that this was an actual bug. LoL

New Post-Game Feature:

Post analysis data currently only shows a data spreadsheet of how you did, but there has to be a way cooler way to end the game. Luckily, there is!

I used to play Ace Combat arcade/sim for PS2, and I remembered how post match, it would show your flight path/encounter in a sort of a short tactical replay. Now, imagine how cool it would be if we had that here!

For one, it would show us the idiot that ran a straight line and suicide... just kidding. =)

Example:

Now, in the video, the arrow is center focused on you (because, well.. it's single player), but this can be changed to be a grand overhead world view to show the entire battlefield.

This would also be a cool tool for commentators and streamers to provide analyses of matches. Heck, there's similar version for basketball (shot chart) and football (the x/o chart).

Now, I want to take it a step further that if this feature can somehow be tied into a replay system. Like if the commentator found a specific time lapse to be interesting, they can cut away to it and replay the action. Would this not be the coolest thing ever?

So in conclusion, 2 things... tactical replay and recording replay. Definitely start with the 1st, but 2 would make it complete.

I'm actually FAIRLY certain the zoom issue is a network one.

Remember when we were told Zoom was "no longer server bound"?

Crock. They disabled the server call FIRST, so it LOOKED smoother. But if your ping is like 400 something you get the double zoom.

I agree with a match replay system, it'll show you what you did right / what you did wrong so you can learn from that and improve as a pilot.
