I think i didnt use SSRM2´s since Clans were introduced to this game^^
So, have they been nerfed a long time ago? recycletime-wise?

Even with the big CD bonus this mech has for that weapon, it feels like even SRM6s have shorter CD...

Edit: I run my BJ2 with 2 ERLL+4SRM4 ( a little short on ammo)

Anyone else notice that in the last patch the s srm2 cooldown was dropped from 3.5s to 2s?

That is almost half. Then there is the modest benefit from the bj2 quirk. Shame about the engine cap, maybe it could have been a light-hunter.

Anyway, do you think the cooldown change makes the streaker blackjack almost viable?

Can't comment on the BJ, but my streak huggin got a lot more fun.

Of course I noticed the change but my first idea wasn't the BJ-2(L), it was the Archer. Seems you missed my topic here.

I did try the BJ-2(L) but it's underperforming... and I haven't tried other chassis yet.

mikerso says the Huggin but not sure if 8 damage every 1.36s is enough, may have to try it myself.

I logged in for the first time in months and I see this shiny(ugly) thing in my mechbay, and wasn't sure what to do with it. I don't have an XL engine that will fit so I added the ENDO and have been using a single SRM6 instead of the 4 SSRM2's. It's different, but I'm having some success in it. I find that it is similar enough to my Urbanmechs and Jenners; I like jumping and I don't like lateral arm movements. If I keep doing well I think I'll use it as my Medium mech choice.

I also claimed the free Centurion(NCIX) so I'll have to wait to get a few matches to see if I like that one too.

averaging less than 150 damage / match with 4 ASRM6. But 2.4 kill ratio....really really binary build, either i ambush some folk and get some cheap kills or i just miss etc or get 2 shotted in the face LOL

IS SSRMs are bad since the day of SSRM catapult was nerfed because of the crying

Most useful for me 4xSSRM2 + 2MPL + BAP. This mech shoots SSRM like machinegun:)
I was trying: LPL, SRM6(a), ERPPS, LL+4xSRM4 and so on.

Honestly I've benn having too much fun in this thing today with 4 SSrm2 and 2 ErLL max xl engine rader dep and cool shot's 9 and 6

Poke early and mid game with the lazorz and late game engage with the streaks and erll when you can spare the heat gen, too much fun imho
