sad thing is, FW is essentially dead unless you Clan Jade Falcon. PGI doesn't seem to care about it all. CJF does still get drops together though, so you may be better off looking towards it.

If you want you can join Midgard, we don't really care about how good you are, only thing we care about is how friendly folk are.
But why not play some games before you make up your mind, no?
On the Marik faction warfare well best chance is to drop after the ceasefire.

Could you tell us what kind of Mechs you are playing (or want to play)

- Inner Sphere 'mechs only
- Clan Mechs only

What do you want?

- Folks to hang out with
- Lore / roleplaying

Just asking because it would make little sense to tell you to go, let's say, Davion when all you want to play is timberwolfs and Stormcrows.

Likewise, if you're in love with Banshees, the 4 clan factions are out of option.

Your timezone and prefered lanuage would be good to know too.

There is no reason left to be in any faction unless to choose Inner Sphere or Clan.
As told is just one Faction on Clan Side left.
And the Inner Sphere won't be split soon in Faction Wars anymore, too.

The Background of any Faction is descriped in the Game under Faction.
So asking meens you didn't even read what is written there... so

At present Faction War is dead. It's just playing around one freaking challange after another. Just wait and see.
