Fix HUD for FPS boost? Try using R-Shift + F11 to turn your HUD off/on and monitor framerates. This should be fixable.

It was funny but back in its time when scaleform first came out, they advertised it so well that major companies ate licenses for it up and game devs everywhere were blindly hallucinating like 'holy crap this amazing hud that simplifies everything and makes it so cool, by using flash!'

.. But it turns out that scaleform is hilariously resource intensive.

Ain't it hilarious that by disabling HUD you can get almost as many extra frames per second as when you would change settings from high/medium to low?

I was skeptical about about the HUD supposedly taking so much performance to be noticeable. Then I tried the hide HUD command and got a very noticeable 10%-15% improvement in framerate. Just. Wow. The HUD needs to be remade, not in the way it looks, but in the resources it takes to work. Though the option for a simplified HUD wouldn't be bad either.
