I completed the 6 Kills/KMDs in both a Crab and a Nova.

However, I didn't receive a second warhorn and standing item.

Is this a bug? Issue being fixed? Or something else?

I've never abandoned a competition before, but this is trash! We won't fail this competition due to lack of skill-we'll come up short due to lack of players!

Your faction is overpopulated, which doesn't help. CGB and CSJ queues are short and easy. I've been doing like 5-6 per hour.

I think the biggest factor is the two mechs chosen for the challenge. On the clan side you have the nova which since resizing became a great mech. On the IS side we got the crab. Pretty much looks like snoopy with a laser nose. Not a real high performer for a lot of players.

I'm glad PGI is trying to have Faction Play / CW challenges. There should be MANY more of them relative to the "anywhere" challenges IMHO. I think part of the reason it's so quiet in CW (and hard to meet the challenges) is that the past few challenges have been "free play" so everyone just runs to Quick Play to hunt a Huntsman or get in quick KMDD or whatever. We're training new players (myself included, only a few months here) that FP and CW aren't worth the effort, yet that is truly my favorite area and I would avoid Quick Play if FP/CW were quicker due to higher populations. I hope there are more challenges like this, difficult though they are, to get more people into faction play - yes, i can't always sit and wait 30 minutes for a scouting run or invasion so maybe this will eventually help. Be patient and give it time...

This event really has proven to me the imbalance between Inner Sphere and Clans. If you are an inner sphere pilot you can get a scouting match pretty quick but you will lose a high % of them. Before you start calling me a whiny IS pilot, i also have a Clan account which i wait 20 minutes for a scouting match and then do 400 dmg with 2-3 kills. Its simply not balanced or fun for either side.

IS players get matches pretty quick... But I actively avoid the Jade Falcons, too many of the top tier players on that side and I already am facing what most likely will be a 0-4 or if we nail it out of the park a 1-4 match in favor of the clanners because the Crab is a trash scouting mech (when compaired to the Nova at least, and even to an extent the Stormcrow).

Yeah, if you were running Griffins, Shadowhawks, or Centurions, in groups of decent players who work together much different game.

You are both Mercs. Stop choosing the only one overpopulated, overpowered, triple stacked, with cherry topping Faction.
You chosse this Faction and you knew it is overpopulated, but you wanted to go to it, because hurr durr, I can win easily.

Maybe nexttime try to even out the populations of the factions, instead of making the population problem worse.
To a big part, we need now 2 buckets, are mercs, triple stacking into one Faction, most of the time it is Jade Falcon.

And if the good players in Jade Falcon leave, all the other units switch to the next faction because they are to afraid fighting each other.

I remember times when we had in all of the Factions good units.


Conclusion: No extra time for you Sir! You activly choose this Faction, now live with the side-effects of it. You can't have one without the other.
