When there are multiple weapons (allowed by multiple hardpoints) in the same weapon section I am hoping we see independent firing animations for each.
I had expected this to be the case, as I thought we saw Swaybacks in some of the earlier videos with six medium lasers firing from the right torso. However, in the recent Centurion reveal video the two laser mounts in the center torso (which are visible on the mech's physical model) seem to shoot a combined beam - hence the mix of colors that resulted in yellow and purple looking lasers.
This also appears to be an issue on the Atlas's arm laser mounts, though I understand that there are not multiple beam 'emitters' on the physical model of that mech. Perhaps these mech models are still being worked on - the game is still in beta after all - but I wanted to mention this suggestion in case it hadn't come up.

Multiple weapons in the same mech section

well...
might be; but I think I would not perceive it anyway in the heat battle.

i agree we need independent rays from each weapon loadded at least from each visible canon in the model of the variant

Well, this would require some modelling from the devs, but it could work. Imagine an Atlas' arm, with various weapon configurations:
No Weapons: Plain arm, no gun points on the model
1 Energy Weapon: Similar to current model (Perhaps with options to alter the placement of the gun)
2 Energy Weapons: Arm with two forearm-mounted guns (Again, variable placement configuration options?)
3 Energy Weapons: Arm with a bank of three forearm-guns (If an Atlas arm can carry that many)
And so on and so forth until all possible permutations of weapon type placement have been fulfilled.
In a perfect world, we would have individual weapon models (Putting a PPC on an Atlas' arm would actually put a modeled cannon on a physical point somewhere on the Atlas' arm, perhaps with multiple preset placement options on the arm). The large laser would have its own model. Medium lasers would have their own models. I would even go so far as to offer not only different physical placement permutations for each limb, but also different styles of weapons. PPC's with large, round barrels, or wave motion tuning fork PPC's, or hexagonal barrel PPC's. Of course, the stats of the PPC's would be the same, only the look of the weapon attached to the battlemech would be different.
If done correctly, the possibility of two mechs looking exactly alike would be incredibly low (aside from default setups). Since this does not actually alter the balance of gameplay in the slightest, this would be a great service for an F2P game to sell.
