Gents

Has anyone seen any good deals on MWO worthy laptops this year?

I've been kicking around getting a new laptop for business reasons and would like to get one that can handle MWO at 40-60 FPS if possible so I can play when I travel-I play on a desk top at home. I'd like to keep it around $1000 which is why I'm looking at deals this weekend. Best I saw so far was a MSI with I-6700 and nvid 1060 for $1100 on newegg.

Any help would be appreciated and I hope you all have a happy and healthy holiday weekend.

Best I Can See for >$1000 is a i7-4720HQ or 6700HQ With a GTX 960M, Some Got a 4K Screen Others Got 1080p. I Think 40-60 is indeed Doable if not on Medium Settings than Maybe Low.
With that being said, if the MSI With i7-6700 & 1060 is Still Available for around $1100 & You Can Afford it, GET IT! The Mobile 1060 a Hella Lot Better Than a 960M!

The MSI one with a GTX 1060 should be fine

See if you could find the one with 6GB on the GTX 1060, it's a faster chip vs the 3GB version

Gigabyte? I've never heard of Gigabyte laptops. Are they any good? I'm a little worried spending this much money on a brand that I've never heard of.

Gigabyte makes decent motherboards and video cards, so I assume their laptops should be ok

I somehow missed this earlier, but Gigabyte laptops are generally decent. I have one with an i7-4710 and GTX 870M. It was easy to upgrade the RAM from 8GB of DDR3-1333 CL 11 to 16GB of DDR3-1600 CL9. It was equally easy to install 2 msata 250GB 850 Evo SSDs. I have not had any reliability issues in the 2 years I've had it and use it nearly daily.
