After friends got banned i took a break, it's been a few months, maybe 6, decided to come back and see the new stuff. First game I played the game looks god awful. Like I thought for a second that devs adopted minecraft engine or something. Now I watched streams, even ones that use my 1920x1080 (my res) and their games look so pretty through the stream. Mine on the other hand looks horrible. If i had describe it it just looks like im playing on a smaller resoltion, very blocky, and just ugly.

Looking for advice on what settings i need checked and unchecked.
I run with a 980 Ti, intel core i7-4770k CPU @ 3.50ghz, 16gb ram, 64 bit windows. Idk what all matters but yea help me make this game look great again.

I also have a 980Ti and push 3440 x 1440 with no issue. Below are my settings.

there was a user.cfg to remove film grain and cockpit glass.

r_HDRGrainAmount=0.0
gp_option_ShowCockpitGlass=0

[mailin]

cockpit glass is also a check box in game under settings.

Sometimes when the game patches some players have problems with settings changing. So, I'd start by double checking your settings. Good luck and welcome back!
