I'm the new guy and I just need to ask: wtf?! Piranha Games has some conference and announces changes to its game and almost instantly the game's population vanishes.

Are you guy TRYING to break your game? The changes, to me are irrelevant. My problem is with management not realizing that most of your veteran population was holding their breath and waiting to see what you would announce at the conference. You guys KNEW your proposed changes would fall short of expectations, but you do nothing to make it up to your players to keep them interested. Most have now gone off to other games and leave your queues half-empty. So I ask again, are you TRYING to break your game, or are you guys so far out of touch with the player base that you are shocked and surprised by this sudden exodus? Either way you answer deserves a *facepalm*

Plus, fix your forums. For the people who can type more than 20 words a minute it is extremely annoying and frustrating that it can't keep up with how fast we type.

Why do you say the population has Vanished?
What specifically did they break?

How is the Forum confusing?

Ummm, sudden exodus, you must be new cause the game has been bleeding vets for a long time.

I don't know about anyone else, but for the first time in at least 6 months, I have more than 3 people in my friends list online at one time. The last time i saw that was back right before the Clans dropped. So the population hasn't "vanished". Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by MechCon's presentation myself.

Pre-con, my queue times as a light were under a minute, EU and OCE servers selected only. Last three days my queue times are 2+ minutes on average, even after I turned NA back on, still as a light. Dude may not be totes right, but there's certainly less people in queue.

I don't think the OP finds the forums confusing. The complaint is that sometimes the type lags before it shows up in the text box. I see that now and then with this web site as well, maybe once or twice a month.

becasue they were at emchcon or in the stream and went to bed after, made a lot people not able to play.

not enough drama and fights compared to other gaming Forums.

You see less players in a lot of games around Christmas-time, lots of folks working retail like my wife work longer hours and you just don't see them.

Older folks go to bed earlier because it's cold and getting darker earlier in the day.

Come January you will see more folks on again, Holiday lull atm I'm thinking.

If the forums can't keep up with your typing it might be your computer or connection, I type at the same rate and it's fine.
