The new Crimson Driver is out - new features and a huge performance improvement in MWO for me as far as i can say (FX 8350 + R9 280X).

Grab it here clicking the appropriate link for your GPU + OS:

Review of the Driver:
"AMD has done it once again with its year-end software bonanza. The Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition (16.12.1) gives your AMD Radeon hardware a huge boost in features and functionality, breathing a new lease of life into the 2-3 year old high-end hardware some of you are still holding on to. There's only a few percent in the way of performance improvements, but that's hardly a complaint from us. The new features add tremendously to the overall value proposition of AMD's Radeon brand."

Indeed, the game seems more smooth. I have to test the Relive part to see how it goes.

Hey I just wanted to mention that Relive was giving me insane lag spikes. As soon as I uninstalled it, my lag spikes disappeared.

Re-posting my response from another similar thread. I'm running on a Fury X and experiencing these lag-spikes or frame-dips as well and the only way I can get rid of them is if I roll back the AMD drivers to the last Crimson Edition 16.11.5. Seems like something is broken on all the ReLive Edition drivers for MWO and certain AMD cards. Not sure if it's related but also experiencing much more buzzing (coil whine) on the new ReLive drivers as well.
