I keep getting disconnected from the game, over and over again after I installed the new patch.

If I UNINSTALL the game and reinstall it, will I lose all of my things? i.e. camo, cockpit items, etc.,etc.,,,

Uninstalling does not make you lose ANY of your things, those are saved on PGI servers, not yours.

Also I think it won't help you. Few people have the same problem, me included.

Hello all,

Can you try running the repair tool or the steam repair tool to see if any PAK files are corrupt. Sometimes a disconnect form the server is because your PAK files are differen then the server.

Ran the repair tool but it did not fix the disconnection problem although I saw that it did remove old dx9 files and the graphics seem to be better.

I found something in the forum that said to remove the frontend_version.dll file from the game's Bin32 folder and then start the game and it will reinstall that latest patch. Let's see if the problem was during the download.

Just wanted to add to the discussion - - -
Before the patch, I got a Dc when joining a mission maybe once or twice a month.
Since the patch it is every 3rd or 4th mission.
Also of note, the Dc happens more often in Escort.

repairtool-patched install. start game. Play. disconnect. rejoin, wait out Penalty. Play match, disconnect, rejoin, more penalty. if you guys cannot handle errors gracefully, can we at least agree that a cold disconnect (over a quit) won`t produce penalty ?
i keep sending in the Crash reports, let me know if you need more Input.
