About as good as the 2xLRM10, 4xLRM5 jenner iic I saw the other day. Bloke had downgraded the engine so far it was slower than the clan heavies it was rolling around with.
There are muppets of equal calibre on both sides.

I wonder what he did with all that saved space and tonnage by taking only a single AC2 on a Marauder.. I mean, its engine caps at 300.. Ammo?.. that must be it.. he filled every critical slot in his mech with ammo.

He probably was screwing around in the mechlab/training ground and forgot to fix it. Or he clicked the wrong marauder variant in his drop deck.

Done that, too. Dropped in the wrong battlemaster with 2 medlas. Irritatingly I did 300 dmg with it. Clanpotatoes do exist!

a ton of players don't have the c-bills to outfit all there Mechs so they have to swap stuff around

I play like (well used to) 65Hrs a week so I spare no expense
I got so mad at FP the other day I spent like 20 mil c-bills on going gauss
with modules and everything

of course it did not even come close to working so it was a waste of time and c-bills

I've seen a Kit Fox with LB2x, ERLL, SSRM4 and an ERSL. I've seen a 2 MG Atlas with LRMs and a TAG before.

Spuds grow in both fields. I see LRM Cheetahs so often it doesn't even surprise me anymore. The thing has 7 tons free with ECM and people go for a pair of LRM5As and 3 tons of ammo.

Also seen the LRM 15, LRM 5 and 2.5 tons of ammo model in the wild.

The biggest problem we would have with putting AI in the game would be making them as terrible as 1/3rd of the player base. People would complain that PGI was utterly incompetent at designing AI and they'd say 'no, we based it 100% off player telemetry, the AI plays like the 40th to 50th percentile range of FW pugs.'

Then we'd all nod, because how can you argue with that? Sure, it's walking into walls, shooting closed gates, firing LRMs at the sky and just wandering in circles in the open in a firefight but I've seen that consistently in pug matches for years.

Every Jenner IIc pilot should try 6lrm5 atleast once.

But i ve seen linebackers with 6 lrm5 and huginns with 2 lrm 10s lately in cw ...
so yeah the madness is real

What about the 1x LPL Atlas, moving at around 50kph? We came across that a few times on one of our Ph.3 Clan tours. I assume he/she had read the posts sayingvthe LPL was the most effective weapon the Inner Sphere had and took it literally.

Holy crap. I've seen that guy. I was pugging on the Clan side. As the only person shooting the enemy (only person on the team to break 1k damage. It was terrible) I died early and got to spectators.

He was using a joystick and was swinging so wildly side to side he couldn't get a missile lock.

Now it's entirely possible there's multiple people with that build in FW but that whole match hurt my heart.
