I am not afraid to mention that I am a Newcomer to this game, but I have already spent an enormous amount of time playing. I prefer heavier Mechs to lighter ones, but I have a decent starting lineup already.

Currently working towards my mastery with the Atlas line. Ill admit that I have a long way to go though. I have been practicing my scouting runs with COM-TDK, and i am improving. I have also been learning more and more about the specifics of competent combat in MWO.
Some info about myself:
I am a tabletop game store owner and I work entirely too much. I have a large group of friends who all like to play PC games. I have a lovely GF who also greatly enjoys PC gaming. Most of us have been playing games together for the better part of 15 years, and have tried many different games. Since I was a child, I've been a huge fan of the MechWarrior franchise, and ive spent countless hours playing MW3. It has been a long time since I have picked up an MW game, as I did not even know that this game was in existence!
Since finding out about the existence of MWO, I have delved very deeply into it. I have only been playing for about a week at the time of writing this.
Availability:
My availability is usually between the hours of 10pm and 1pm (UTC -8) or, PST for those of you who still use it. Although, since I do own and operate a tabletop gaming business, my available hours are subject to IRL workload. I find myself more able to get on and chunk away some hours playing from either 9am-1pm PST (UTC-8), or from 10pm-3/5am PST (UTC-8).
What I'm looking for in a unit:
I am seeking a unit that need's players willing to put in time and effort, but is also understanding when they cannot. The unit does not need to be a elite team of God Hands, but that does not hurt. I am a very flexible player, preferring to play Assault Class Mechs, but wont shy away from being told to play a lighter or particular Mech for class comp, (provided I can afford it, and that it is not a problem if I cannot.)
What I can bring to a unit:
I am a fiercely loyal player, often sticking with a clan or guild until the very end, or most times, after, with hopes of resurrecting our once glorious family. I am a well balance Newcomer, with a drive to do better and perform under harsh conditions. I am a fiercely competitive player at times, which has in the past with other games, driven me and my guild/clan mates into Top 20 in the world status across several other MMO's. I am a specialist in Administrative Management, allowing me the ability to manage and solve tasks that are assigned to me, or generated by me. As a side-ability of being good at what I do, I also recognize when there is something that I am not good at. When this happens, I am very good at finding and procuring someone who is. I perform well under stress and pressure, and can at times exhibit tremendous leadership skills during combat, (although, I prefer to Co-Lead, as it allows me to examine issues that may pop up, and suggest small fixes to those who are in command.)
I hope this find's the eye's of those who need someone like me. Once again, I am a Newcomer, but a driven and competitive Newcomer nonetheless.
