Make it so you can see your allies damage status and weapons? Or basically make allies targetable with new key? The only damage indicator we got is just damage % on HUD or when holding "Q" button. It's very informative, but what about more detailed information?

Such information could also be useful for the command console and lance/company commander positions. I can imagine an "expand" option for the Lance Status UI in the top left, showing condensed paper dolls, weapons, and ammo count. Perhaps it takes effect only while in a certain range or while hovering your reticle over your friendly?

I don't need Oprah judging me on my load out in the Solo quick play que
If your in a unit, you should know wot your unit mates are running....(Ask them)

we could always go halfway with this and at it as a toggle on/off feature

I'd rather have the damage I do show up after each shot I take (like when you shoot the turrets in the Academy).
If I shoot a ER LL, I want to see the damage I did. If I shoot LRMs over a hill, I want to see if I did any damage. If I drop a Artillery strike, I want to see how much damage I did if any.

It normally goes like this. Yo man, what are you running on your Maddog? lol

A good example is going on right now with the event and needing 500 damage with IS MGs, no HMGs or LMGs.
So they know this info already.
