I propose a module called a SMOKE DISCHARGER it is a weapon that sends a billowing cloud of smoke so you can escape.

I was gonna say sounds dumb, until i remembered my game last night were my pirates bane used the green smoke to hide in scouting, while on gather, they couldnt line up a good shot because that + ecm hid me. Maybe a smoke that also jams like ecm, a similar tactic and the source for lore is the jamming+smoke arty rounds fired during task force serpents fight on huntress with landing jags in 'shadows of war'
