so too the lurmtards you complain for "locks" so i flank, get you locks wait and nothing.................. i eventually get found as what happens as people have eyes believe is or not and still you dont bother lurming your busy trying to kill a locust that you do stuff all damage too.

Please stop asking for locks, for help if you start to get taken down, or just wasting tonnage in anything bigger than an adder. we light pilots should go on strike and MMWOGA

Protip: Don't base your tactics around holding locks, infact, don't hold them at all if you don't have to, just lock on as needed to get your info and shots off and get out of sight before you get shot.

Good LRM boats don't rely on those types of locks, they'll more often lock onto enemies in brawls with allies to help them out, target people in the open, make their own trades, or will be tagging or NARCing for themselves.

At best you're giving help to players who really aren't trying at all and are very likely to do worse than your light mech even if you do help. For the sake of the team, see yourself as more valuable and keep yourself alive and backstab as many enemies as possible to bring out a win.

Dear LRMboaters:

Backup weapons are nice and make the cheetahs go away if you are a good shot. Posted Image

I got a domination game in PoLRM highlands once and I was Narcing, we still lost and an Lurm Warhawk just blamed everbody for being "useless" even though he didn't take damage until he was the only one left. When we told him off for using an Lurmboat assault he told us that since he did more damage than us that we were wrong. We played a couple of times again and when we lose he always does that, "I did more damage", "you're all useless besides me"

I play in the Oceanic, so yeah I think some of you know who I'm referring to.

He's the reason I love AMS so much.

You know OP I get great enjoyment lurming every light mech I "lock'"
Sooooo satisfying.
See yur tiny rear exhaust port on the battlefield.
On a side note those who don't target the mech they're shooting at.
Are simply a notargettard and a detriment to the team.

I actually love to see an enemy lrmboat.

Eventhough I pilot the titsmoner that is a 2xcerppc sniper, I would make it a point to appear within 80meters from the lrmboat and strip its component one by one.

meanwhile a dakkabear you could have driven back into cover murders the rest of the team.......

the trick is to wait for the lurmboat to start hitting it then fire and they dont notice your damage but i have said too much and the brothers of the lightmech clan may kill me for revealing secrets

Dear Non-LRM Boats,

When (most) LRM Boats asks for locks, they are not asking you to facetank the enemy and maintain constant contact. They're just asking you to hit 'R' when you do see someone

Also, if you 'flank' 1,500 meters away from the team and to the rear of the enemy formation, the LRMs can't reach you.

I use a Warhawk Lurm cuz I like to carry everything I might need for a camping trip. Good balance of pew pew and lurms. My internet is complete junk so I have no choice most times to just use Lurms, sometimes I lag so bad my lurms don't even hit lol or I cant even lock.

Dear LRM boaters.
Play more aggressively and share armor whenever possible. Move with the push, stay in the second lines

Sincerely
-A former LRM boater
