Well, i try to keep it as short as possible but wow ....
1) Cost way to much
So first part is the cost of everything. While i dont have a problem with the Respecc cost, the normal cost for activating a Node is way too high.
Farming 9 million cbills for a newly build chassis over the course of the exp grind time may not be an issue, but its still too much. I have around 200 mechs on different accounts, and maybe enough modules to equip 20 of them at the same time with the best gear possible, maybe another 5-10 with suboptimal modules. With that i can skill maybe 50-60 with that amount of refund money.
The EXP cost is way too high. With an average of 750 EXP per quick play match (excluding Champion mechs, Premium time and First Win of the Day while maintaining roughly 50% Win/Loss) you need more then 45 HOURS, if you can play 4 matches per hour. That is an insane amount of grind!
2) Most Veterans dont match your requirement
I have almost all of my mechs on Elite, about half on Master. That means my mechs average about 40k EXP, some are at 60k, some have 400k-500k. I guess i probably have 150 mechs, that dont have enough EXP. That means i have something like 15-25 hours of farm for each mech - multiply that by 50, 100 or even 200 with some players and you have a major problem.
What to do?
Reduce the amount of EXP per Node to 750 and 25.000 CBills.
Why so low?
Even with 750 EXP per Node, you need around 68.250 EXP to master a mech. That is 19% more then before, its still considerably more to farm. But its not 138% more like it is now.
25k CBills per Node is "okay-ish". You need around 2.250.000 CBills, thats a lot, but probably more in line with what players would be spending. Also please consider that players will buy more mechs with the remaining money and/or spend it on new equipment because some builds are not working and/or we have new tech coming soon - that will be very expensive and a perfect money sink.
3) Historical EXP
This is something i wish for, that would help making the transition easier. Please make Historical EXP per Chassis, not per Variant. Example: I've a Catapult with 500.000 EXP, and 4 others with 60k EXP. After the patch, my main variant would be rendered useless since the chassis nerfs hit it particulary hard. It would have been a gesture that you understand that such a massive change will lead to many pilots that need to rebuild their mechs.
4) Why not more unique Skills like Magazine Capacity?
Right now, most Skills are fairly boring. You have to Skill things like AMS Overload that does 1.25% more damage. Thats so underwhelming.
