Just kidding because there aren't any and won't be any for this release;

But Wait There's more!!
Instead of getting geared up per usual with something tangible like mech stats/quirks, We get to watch Sean Lang and Spiral Face in the normal lame duck routine of 2v2, WHICH IS USUALLY RELEASED EARLIER ON THE FORUMS. But hey if I feel so inclined to, I guess I can mosy on over to twitch and give them the ratings they must want on that channel. blech.

it's almost as if Guzzler's discovery of those mediocre/uninspired quirks for the SNV on the skill-tree pub test, prompted"Those who the shots" to leave them out this round as if in response.

Yea, crazy stupid thought, but at least it would give my theory that this game is ran by a bunch of crabby 4 year olds some solid legs.

TL;DR
PGI GIVE US TEH QUIRKS. ITS DAY ONE BEFORE RELEASE.

It looks like NGNG is playing around with it in the mechlab right now. I'm sure someone can discover the quirks there.

Also, looks to be a bit more limited crit space than the MarauderIIC, which is bad. All sorts of bad

It should be said tho, that the Marauder is exceptionally good space for needed DHS.

IIRC one of the variants has three energy hardpoints in the core (head+CT) of the 'Mech.

Yea, the SNV-3 does that.

A very small part of me wants a +99% Energy Heat quirk so I can replicate the MW3 experience of alpha striking with all six ERLL's and immediately exploding Posted Image

It literally has the exact same crit space as the MAD-IIC, they are both battlemechs with lower arm actuators and no hands..

It does have a lower engine cap meaning you cant get as many heatsinks in the engine though.

Mad 2C will be hard to top tbh. The Supernova looks ok but it's not quite there. And in Assault land, not quite there means... it gets left in the mechbay.

Sometimes it's all about the quirks, they need to give certain mechs a little boost in the right direction. Some need it more than others and I feel this will be one of those mechs that needs it straight out the box.

Well that's actually very normal in BT, 85t is usually better than 90t if you want something that can jump....

best part of fielding a SNV in MW3, the allmightly boomign alpha. Hell 3 CERLL already made you beep and bleep, and here in MWO? youc an fire so much it's ridiculous.

The one variant with the 4 energy hardpoints on the sts will be good for 4xerpp hill humping.

Yes go refund on a untested mech and buy another case of PGI making Clans too good.

Well I see from the animation the Supernova can't fire the canon 3 by 3 salvo of the 6 ER Large, but it was able to fire all 6 in pairs without shutting down. Doing it again would cause a shutdown though I bet. That's like the Stock Supernova, but MWO has things balanced around a 30 heat maximum, beyond that the cooling can't keep up no matter how many heatsinks you use.

We've seen what pre-"balanced" quirked mechs do. I think many still get nightmares from the carebear theme alone.

Clan Battlemech will never be DOA. Less than meta, but not DOA. Quirkless IS mechs on the other hand...
