when i start a match and tab out to e.g. set some music on youtube, the game crashes almost reproduceable. (50% of the time).

Is the screen black for some time before it crashes?

If so try this
On Windows press Control Alt and delete, this will bring up the screen that has windows options such as Task manager.
(Don't press any options)

Wait 10 seconds or untill you can hear the game.

Now press Escape.

If the screen is still black do it again

This works for me and avoids crashes

Hope it helps

if you plan to spend a reasonable amount of time alt tabbed, you should be using a 'full window' from the options instead of 'full screen', it will generally handle the transition between tasks much nicer, also some more information about the hardware involved could help us rule things in or out ...
things like,

the CPU
the GPU ( graphics card / chip )
is it a craptop that gets too hot to sit on your lap ...

and depending on how savvy you are with your machine, you could add some cvars to a user.cfg file that might help determine the problem ...
s_NoFocusVolume = 1
log_WriteToFileVerbosity = 3
the first one tells the game to keep running sound while your alt tabbed, you wont miss the start of games anymore
and the second one bumps up the level of log file information .... you wont want to leave it there too long, but when the game crashes, you should get a better idea of what failed .... if 3 doesn't yield results, you can go up to 4, but the log files will grow fast, so don't leave it there ... also, over logging everything tends to give a performance hit .... and as you troll through the 20 mb file youll begin to understand why ....
