I do....I do...yeah it's been awhile. Basically a simple tank game with everything consisting of green outlines. Fairly simple graphics, but it was a freaking blast to play.

Anybody remember this game: Battlezone.
I do....I do...yeah it's been awhile. Basically a simple tank game with everything consisting of green outlines. Fairly simple graphics, but it was a freaking blast to play.

I enjoyed the arcade Battlezone, but what got me into PC gaming was the Activision Battlezone 1 (1998).
I loved the gameplay mechanics (First-person strat game), and the storyline was A+ grade (Cold war era, Russians versus Americans, IN SPACE!!!!)...
In case you're interested, there's a redux released on Steam last year with (slightly) updated visuals. Definitely an oldie but a goodie.
BZ1 and MW2:Mercs were my entry-points into the realm of computing. Mercs is actually why I'm here in the first place.
