Y sorry, Yankee!

There are people who *don't* use the NATO phonetic in FW?

How do they even communicate?!

when dropping in one sided match (either way) I've been in some drops where we enjoyed using much less... appropriate... words...

Juliette is always spelled with the -te in the phonetic alphabet to ensure it is pronounced correctly. Languages like French drop the t sound at the words ending in et.

The problem i have with the phonetic alphabet is that i tend to use the wrong one:

Anna, Berta, Cäsar,
Daniel, Emil, Friedrich,
Gustav, Heinrich, Ida,
Jakob, Kaiser, Leopold,
Marie, Niklaus, Otto,
Peter, Quasi, Rosa,
Sophie, Theodor, Ulrich,
Viktor, Wilhelm, Xaver,
Yverdon, Zürich

No problem understanding the Nato one, I just can't speak it without wildly mixing this and the NATO one.

Creative, but also inherently a dropcaller's nightmare.

Dropcaller: "Get on H, Hunchback! Target legs."
Lancemate #1: "On Hunchback!"
Lancemate #2: "Where's the Hunchback?"
Lancemate #1: "Hunchback is a Highlander."
Lancemate #3: "Wait, I was on the Hunchback, legs are fine, targeting rear torso."
Dropcaller: "No idiots, H is for Hunchback, he is a Highlander. Target Hunchback."
Lancemate: #1 "Oh damn, I was on another Hunchback."
Lancemate: #2 "Guys, where were you? The Highlander just killed me."
Dropcaller: "You mean H, Hunchback right?"
