I am being 100% serious, is the hero urbie worth the 10 bucks. It seems very viable with a max engine a ac5 and 5 small lasers with some heatsinks. I am not looking for a real light mech by the way. All this is a joke. I want something fun and stupid to play while I am still in tier 4. So please nobody tell me about a better light mech, I just want a fun mech.

Do you own an Urbie already? If not, I suggest you get yourself an R60 and give it a whirl, it's the only way to be sure if an Urbie is right for you.

I have owned all he urbies before and I love them to death just I had to sell them for more room to be a bit more competitive but now since I get a mech bay with it I am just wondering if it will be worth the 10 bucks to get the hero we have all been waiting for. Also I really need to know, can I turn on the lights on the urbie cause that would be bad ***

I'm willing to pay $10 for a player created design alone. If it has flashy lights and sirens, they could ask for $20 and I'd do it without batting an eye. The in-game chat opportunities alone are worth $10!

It's worth it. Come on, it's for the Urbie. Posted Image

Plus, if ever you want to make it more a "real light" it can fit 5 MPL and zombie with a standard engine with JJs just fine.

I just hope the lights actually light up when you get a kill, that would be sweet right there

I would tie it into the "/" key, personally... not like it gets any use in this 'Mech.

Hey, PGI, next, can we get the Urbie IIC?

If you want a slow light, get a Kit Fox instead.

Urbies are just terrible.

I am going to have to go with the urban K-9. I mean what mech can compare with a urban mech with police lights...NOTHING!

On a serious note though, it's not that it's bad, it's just not good as the other selection. Yes Kit-Fox would be a superior choice, but its not like you automatically lose with an Urbanmech.

And besides, even if you do, it's so much fun to be able to take a mech out that you can't really take yourself too seriously in

It made more sense in my head. I think what I was trying to say was even if you DO automatically lose in an Urbie, you have fun regardless because if you're using one then you're not taking things too seriously. At least I'm usually not

So are the rest of the urbanmechs. You're supposed to optimize Urbies.

I would advise switching to Med Lasers instead. Best weapons in the Urbanmech, even if it's heretical, are energy weapons. So piggybacking on energy weapons is best to get good score.

Would really have loved to see a variant carry say, two energy/ballistic on each ST and a missile pod or two in each arm. Would have been a good chance to change up the design a bit.

I'd just like to point out, my roommate's score with the Urbie. Note the 1k+ damage
