As asked above - just skilled full agility and wanted to try it out in Testing grounds. Let´s say i was NOT overwhelmed with agility... So does the new skill try not apply for Testing Grounds or is it actually MEANT to be like this?! If so, it will be hard for me to get used to it. I mean even if larger mechs are going to get their agility nerfed in an equal percentage, it will still hurt the light mechs more as they rely on speed more. Besides, I DONT WANT A LOCUST THAT PLAYS LIKE A HUNCHBACK!
Does Skill Tree Not Apply For Testing Grounds Or Does My Locust Just Suck Now?

So this is not a bug or something? Cannot believe... Who would play lights if it stays like that?

my purifier was handling closely to a present-game huntsman with zero point spent. the kitfox had all mobility unlocked. it's garbage, and if the goal was to make heavies that played like mediums for speed/mobility and assaults that handled like heavies to be adjusted to their class... well, the baby was thrown out with the bath water with what this is doing to lights and mediums.
PGI, let me clue you in on something. Mechs that move slower do not increse Time to Kill, which is what you mentioned was a goal for this upcoming patch. Slower mechs are easier to hit, which REDUCES time to kill.

I just went to try out a different build/skill setup on my sdr-5d.
added 2 more jjs, switched weapon loadout, blah blah
anyways looks like few are testing at the minute so I had to go to the actual testing grounds instead of a match and:
A couple of things might be happening:
#1 Either the testing grounds or the actual matches are not including the skill tree changes. Because my mech feels right in the testing grounds while I agree with everything this post is about in a match.
#2 JJ Skill Tree... and this should have been a DUH moment for me long before I did this ...has a much greater impact depending on the number of JJs you are using. (Altho again this is in the testing grounds and not in an actual match. So...)

Scratch the above. More time spent in testing grounds and yeah... my spider manuevers like a freaking hunchback there as well. Almost exactly like one actually. The JJ part is correct still though.
