Kick the Can
This event is open to anyone. There will be a maximum of 17 participants. You do not have to be on time for this and this event can accommodate any pilot that needs to be AFK for 15 or more minutes.
Mechwarrior friends/artists "B_B_Wolfe" and "Bishop Steiner" will be participating as our special guests.
You WILL need a Blackjack 'mech to Participate. You WON'T need an Urbanmech.
Overview
Anyone remember playing Kick the Can in grade school?
This event that pits a team of unarmored Blackjack "kickers", against a "protector" team guarding a stationary Urbie.
The Urbie has no armor and no weapons and will be packed with a lot machine gun ammo to ensure that when it dies, it dies spectacularly.
The object is to Kick-off or kill the Urbie being defended by the protector team. Whoever gets the Urbie kill moves to the "Protector" team in the next match.
This also bumps the most senior person off of the "Protector" team and onto the spectator bench unless there are less than 12 people on the "Kicker" team.

Prizes
Winning two rounds on the "Protector" team earns you your choice of a Light Hero pre-order ($10 value) or 1 month of premium time code ($12 value).
Limit 1 prize per player.
Entry Fee
To offset the cost of the prizes each entrant is asked to contribute $3.50 vial PayPal with your pilot's name in the PayPal transaction note. Follow @Bardsrok on Twitter if you want to join this event. VOIP and PayPal instructions will be delivered through Direct Message.
Entries will be closed on March 18 or when 17 players have registered; whichever happens first.
The event will end three hours after it starts OR if 9 prizes are awarded, whichever happens first.
By transmitting an entry fee you (the player) hereby agrees to abide by the event rules described here and understand and acknowledge the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
Other Rules
Blackjack Arrow hero mech can't be used.
No airstrike or artillery consumables can be used.
Rules for The Can
The Urbanmech isn't a player, it's the "Can" and there's isn't anything that the "Can" has to do.
If someone wants to pilot the can, then their Urbie gets no armor (as before) and one machine gun only. It can't cannot walk or jump. The "Can" stays where it starts on the map.
The point of the "Can" is to be in the open where theoretically it's an equal distance for all players to have the chance to kill it.
Rules for Kickers
All the Blackjack "kickers" shall have 155 standard engines, a pre-approved weapons loadout and ZERO armor. The "kickers can have all the AMS, heat sinks, active probes, MG ammunition and jump jets they want.
Approved weapons loadouts for the Blackjacks are as follows;
BJ1DC-BJ1 1MPL, 2SPL 2MG
BJ1DC-BJ1X BJ-3 1MPL, 2SPL 2SL
BJ-2 1ML, 1SL, 3SSRM2
Rules for Protectors
The protectors only get to use Inner Sphere Trial Mechs. There will be a maximum of 3 protectors at any one time on the "Protector" team. They will always drop in the same lance as the "Can".
The person who's been on the protector team the longest shall have 1st choice to pilot any of the Trial Mech available to his or her team.
According to the number of people participating there will be varying numbers of protectors and spectators according to the following chart.

FAQ
What's the protector again? A "Protector" is just the title of the player defending the unarmored Urbie.
The "Protector" isn't an Orion Hero in this game of Kick the Can, it's a trial mech of a tonnage that scales according to how many "Kickers" are in the match.
Are we playing in stock mode? No, any XP you've spent to make your Blackjack run or shoot faster benefits you.
Can I use my BlackJack Arrow? No. Hero mechs aren't allowed.
Can I use Airstrikes and Artillery? No. The Urbie is already easy enough to kill. Learn to shoot straight.
