And like, the person's view immediately pop back into 1st person, and they have to press the button again?

It won't actually do anything except annoyance, but... I figured... it's going to be a fun kind of annoyance.

I don't see why not beyond "unnecessary feature compared to all of the other things we've waited on for years"

Shooting a 3PV drone would just let someone know they were spotted anyhow, and many people don't use it to begin with because it telegraphs your position and the minimap disappears.

Colorblind support would be a better feature to work on, for example

People even use these in combat? Never seen one beyond start of game while walking

Unless it does damage to the mech in question, why would anyone bother anyway? Waste of heat, ammo, and time.

When they first came out, we could! I "Shot down" friendly 3pv drones all the time.

interesting idea, and I think you should be able to shoot it down, but if they ever do allow that I hope they add a fully functional 3rd person view like they had in MW4 Mercs.

I would rather be able to force opponents to use 3rd person view, that would really screw them over.
