I have always wanted a mech with 12 machine guns. And this mech has 12ballistic and 6energy hardpionts
To me this mech is just a screw around mech. For sure if this mech ever comes out it will be the cause of machine gun nerf.
But it would be so cool if Solaris ever comes out that they also release Solaris battlemechs such as these.

Thoughts on this mech guys?

You know which Mech also has 12 ballistic mounts? The Piranha! If only Piranha Games had any far fetched, totally obscure tangentially related reason to unexpectedly, seriously totally out of the blue, who could have seen it coming, surely no one was ever asking for it, release the darn thing.

Looks pretty darn meta. Too bad IS ballistics are so bulky, not to mention Juggernaut's top speed is as slow as that of a Mauler.

Besides Bane has 14 ballistic points. Bloody Clanners.

Ah, but Bandito, Mr. Juggs also has energy weapons, which means that if the 12 HMGs I would mount on it ever run out of ammo, I still have weapons. The same cannot be said about Mr. Tentacles......

You will need all the tonnage for ammo anyway if you boat dakka. I find that backup lasers are seldom needed unless you need to shoot down UAVs.

What the Bane can't do is dual Gauss + dual ERPPC.

You want 120 meter ranged MGs on a 55kph Assault mech? That sounds even worse than invading Russia during Winter.

You should see some of the stuff I get up to in Group que with weird/"useless" mechs. I have(no joke) actually run right into the middle of an enemy team(I was chasing a couple of Lights, back when the Jenner IIC was still useful) while using the Champion Zeus. They didn't even notice that I was an enemy until I started firing at the nearest LRMboat.

Bane would churn this ************ up to swiss cheese. 14 Ballistic Hardpoints, 10 UAC2s, that ****'s broke as ******* ****. It would probably never get in game.

It's a shame that it doesn't have anything on the LT. Move one or two B hardpoints to the LT to increase the cheese.

It doesn't have to, it has 10 UAC2s. Posted Image

Even if it doesn't double tap, it's still 20 damage every 0.72. Slap 10 C-AC2s there for cooler run.

Thinking that falls well within Ghost Heat range. It'd be like the Nova...one alpha strike, and you're done. Yeah....I think not.

10 UAC/2 would be too much. 9 is more reasonable because then you can slap both endo and ferro and mount far bigger engine like XL360 (~63kph) rather just XL300 and move at Dire Wolf speed.

If it has at least 1B on the LT, then it can carry Quad Gauss (4 GRs) with 10 ton ammo (1500 potential damage) and XL310 (54kph), or just lower the engine and mount a TC. You would also be able to completely strip one of the Arm armor for additional tonnage.
