Greetings,
New to the game. Need 1.5M for a Timberwolf. Need help in C-Bill earning. Since I'm new and do not get over 100K in matches, is there a way to earn faster? Sorry for the noob question. Thank you.

Premium time.
Mechs with a 30% C-bill bonus
Find "inventory" and sell off stuff you don't need like STD heatsinks etc.

Play the hell out of the event that is going on. Stay in the quick drops though. Getting 80 match score is super easy unless you charge a firing line. I am sure I have pulled more than 2 mill just from lootbags. Also there is that Banshee and all that free MC...

Cheers! And welcome to MWO!

Have you finished all the cadet bonuses (your first 25 matches give you extra cbills) and the course tutorial (I getting gold in that gives you 500,000 cbills)
I would second just playing as much as you can during the event to get loot bags

Learning the payout system in matches can help you exploit it. You can get a lot of cash by doing "flanking" which is really just shooting someone who isn't able to target you, this can mean you are covered by ECM, are behind them, or are out of their sensor range. The Trial Hellbringer has ECM and pretty good range so it can get these often in a match.

Hit and Run is basically flanking but you do 20 more points of damage to them than they did to you in a fight and its not reliant on if you are being targeted or not. Usually you can get these at the same time as a flanking award.

Savior kills also pay out big time, you don't even have to get the kill, just be attacking an enemy who had attacked a damaged teammate within 10 seconds of their death. Just stick near your team and shoot stuff and these can pile up in some matches, also its a good tactic to be with a buddy or two anyway.

Other than that stay alive, stick with the team, and get some good damage pumped out precisely, go for enemy side torsos if their center isn't hurt all too bad. Taking a side torso will reward you for the damage of the arm's health too and the side torso is generally fully of components. They are very profitable to remove.

Find a medium mech that you enjoy playing. Stand in your medium mech next to an assault mech, get free exp and c bills for doing so. Follow said assault mech everywhere, shoot what the assault mech shoots. Profit.

Also I forgot to mention always vote for conquest. You get a c bill bonus based on the number of capture points.

You can use all trial mechs because each gives single (x2) bonus per day. For game modes, Escort and Invasion if played well.

That's just an XP bonus though, and he was specifically asking about C-bills, those are sadly not doubled by the x2. Posted Image

Hit every enemy at least once, even if you won't do any damage. Just make sure every single enemy has been hit at least once.
Even if you don't kill a single enemy, you will have 12 kill assists when your team wins. That's a lot of money right there.

While I'm at it... Win. Money's a lot better when you win. So work together with your team as best as you can. Watch their backs. Get your shots in and don't be afraid to die if it'll help the team... but only if it'll help the team.

To follow up on the "don't be afraid to die."

Often you'll see mechs with no weapons left providing themselves as bullet shields for allies. In fact in one 2 versus 2 battle (at the end of a rather epic 8 vs 8 back in the day), I'm the last guy alive on my team. I'm sporting a Misery (Stalker Hero) with two PPCs + UAC/5 + 1 SPL + 2 SL + 1 SRM-6. They are: An Atlas with 4 ER PPCs and a Gauss Rifle and a Stalker with 4 PPCs. Basically it was a battle of massive damage alpha strikes (fire all weapons at once) where a single blow would kill most mechs, and we're using the tankiest mechs you can possibly have (my ally was a literally identical build but by this point he had perished because he was just a little too far away from the Stalker when the Atlas and Stalker both focus-fired him). We're each down to 20% overall health or less. I'm personally riding somewhere below 13%.

Screenshot provided to show that surviving absolutely brutal damage is commonplace for me in my Misery (or any Stalker; in the case of this image I survived a 3 on 1 fight against a Banshee, a Firestarter and an LRM Catapult and came out triumphant, marching to the nearest capture point to take it for the team. No allies around).

Posted Image
Unlocked in a single match the very day those rewards came out.

Suffice to say we were all Completely Devastated from head to toe.

I disabled the Stalker entirely (an effort largely done by both me and my teammate's clone build. Stalkers are freaking hard to kill, especially back then). No weapons left. No side torsos. Just a walking husk with no purpose in life other than to be distracting. The Atlas had his Gauss Rifle explode. He was in bad, really bad shape. I was in bad shape. Just one SL left, UAC/5 and a single PPC and the biggest thing about this fight is we kept about 40 meters from each other. I had to keep that close to make sure the Stalker was neutered or I'd have been dead several minutes before.

The Atlas runs super hot, so that 4 ER PPC combo quickly turned into the occasional single ER PPC. He's only got 2 left and no doubt from how rarely he's firing he has lost a LOT of heatsinks from my peppering of damage and crits. My UAC/5 is low on ammo. My laser makes a hit. He blocks it with his destroyed side torso and turns to make a shot and misses after firing a single ER PPC. Rather I wanted him to but even so I twisted to protect myself. He didn't actually miss, he got a destroyed arm hitbox of a destroyed torso. At the time that was a reduction of 50% followed by another reduction of 50% before it went to my CT. (2.5 damage received to my CT). I'm cherry red and raw. I should be dead. I twist back to line my shot up. 2 bullets left in my UAC/5. Just at 93 meters. It was time. One shot, 15 damage, he'd be disabled for sure and then I'd win by default, free to pick them off with my small laser and a PPC if they'd be so nice.

I fired.

play a lot... try to at least hit every hostile target for added assists,

try to blow peoples components off.. focus particular points on a hostile target *you can get more for sparring a target and taken off his leg and arm and walking away then killing him (after someone kills him)

try to get kills most damage
get a hero or champion mech (30% added c bills)

master your mech.. preferable a hero or champ

Huh?
They do not.

All champions (yes trials) have a 30% experience bonus.
(Also: G4lv4tron, an X2 [times 2] bonus is towards XP)

Trial mech: Mauler champion.
Posted Image
Notice: Mech bonus is in XP, not cbills.
Notice: "First win of day" for this mech (the X2 bonus) is in experience.

Honestly, this is a good method for survival in a lot of games, taking a medium mech with a good punch to act like a pilot fish around the assaults.

Getting Premium Time is big, you know this because you are reminded of it after every match.

A month of PT is $12.00

The Locust Mastery Bundle is $13.00.

Buy the Bundles, strip the Mechs and then sell them.

You now have a month of PT and 3 empty mech bays.

Repeat as needed.
