DireWolf with 7 Clan AC/2, a CAP, a small TC, and 17 tons of ammo. If you manage to run out of ammo, you have dealt 1000+ damage.

I call it "Siege Engine.". Nothing more fun that out-ranging a LRM boat in open terrain with a DireWolf. Even at 1200 meters you are dealing 9.7 damage per volley, faster than 1 volley per second with 2000m/s projectiles.

My favourite and best at the minute is probably the

SCR-D

5 x SRM-6`s + Art
8 or so stacks of missles
Couple of heat sinks.

What ever modules you fancy.

Its a close range mech for sure and it sucks big time on some maps but with a base speed of near 100kph its really good fun and nippy for the damage it packs. Really need to get 3 variants so I can speed tweak it.

Well, it already comes with an XL400 and I'm not spending 6.5mil space bucks so I can mount one additional DHS and TC, lol.
