After watching the Battletech cartoon with the oh so angry Adam Steiner my heart has always belonged to this house. I used to play the card game ages ago and would only field Steiner Mechs.

Wild Hog, Journeyman, It's good to see you on the forums and I'll fight for you on the field.

Good to see you as well, my friend!

And Starkiller...how goes it? It has been some time but I remember some of the late nights in W!O. It is good to see you again.

My first BT experience was the pods at Spaceplexx on Long Island in '98 at my nephew's birthday party.
Then found MPBT:Solaris on aol in '99, where I played a bit until I found Gamestorm, and played until it was turned off there.

Originally recruited into House Marik, which turned out to be not the best fit, I went Merc with a group called Mech Gods, who were part of Mercenary Combine, run by Mad Khan. Contracted exclusively with House Steiner, I got to know a lot of great people, and in preparation for 3025, I was honored to be a part of the creation of a new House Steiner unit, the 6th Regimental Combat Team : Apache division. 3025 never went beyond a leaked link to the beta, then the plug was pulled.

Through the years I've played in leagues such as VL, BZ4, W!OL, Empire (was my favorite), MWL, NBT, and more recently, ISW. I'm ready for something new, and so is House Steiner from the looks of the email group.

My story is almost exactly like Hogs up here except I started with Solaris on Gamestorm. I was offered a chance for some training from a guy named Nightraven who was the leader of the Desert Rats (also a merc unit part of the Mercenary Combine) and from there I never looked back. I'm proud to be one of the original members of Apache Division and am glad to call of those fine guys at gals friends!

Bros came up with the "Bro Fist" because they wanted to be House Steiner.

Been around with MW1 when I was too young to remember but the machine guns on that 2d-goodness. Been lovin' my giant stomping battle mechs ever since.

Hey, EmyLightsaber here, 27, MALE, and started with Mechwarrior 2: 31st Century Combat, then moved up to Ghost Bear's Legacy. I then skipped Mechwarrior 3, as my computer at the time was not fast enough. The next mech game I had was FASA's Battletech: A Game of Armored Combat Fourth Edition. I played a little of that by myself, as I was still a kid, and not many people that I knew liked those types of mech games. I then moved on to a newer computer, to find and purchase before the great craze of Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries CD's a copy of the MW4: V, BK, and Mercenaries. Later on, I joined ISW as a Steiner, and found WildHog, Journeyman, and all the others there.

I was for a time over there the XO of Crescent Hawks Regiment under Ulkesh. Then later moved up into the CO spot.

Unfortunately for some, I joined the DarkStar Alliance, and found they supported House Davion, with WarHorse the commander at the time being a retired General of the Achemar Defense Grid, or whatever it's called. He was a Colonel for DSA, I was (eventually) his XO. We ran for a time as a Light Regiment, with 4 Companies and a Command Lance. Currently, we run our unit like Task Force Serpent (Like Mechwarrior 3 Drop) did. 4 Lances and a command Lance.

Life is good under the Archon.

Judge......Started playing AOL BT back in 1999 where I started life as a yellow bellied Davion but was soon rescued from that hell by a good friend Wolf who led me towards the life of a Steiner. I joined up with the AD (Apache Division) guys in MW4 and played there for a while before moving to the Fire Mandrills.....for all of a week! Then I joined up with HK in MW4: VL before heading back to my home of AD once again.

Played with AD and House Steiner through VL, Empire, ISW.

I've had a soft spot for House Steiner ever since I played Crescent Hawks Inception... shame they aren't going with the much more interesting 3025 era.

I've never played tabletop, but was always interested in the games. Played a bit of single player MW2 and 3 back in the day, but that's about it. I'm excited to finally get into some multiplayer Mech combat, and let's face it, with a name like mine, House Steiner only makes sense. :)

Yes, yes, yes, this is very exciting indeed. This game and it's community have been sorely missed. I look forward to watching, over the next several months as more old friends find their way back.

Congrats on the promo Wild Hog! You been in touch with BS or MK?

I'm fairly new to Battletech lore. I've played a few of the Mechwarrior games, though not nearly as much as I would have liked. Of course, with the announcement of MWO, I'm trying to get a better grasp of the game's lore. That also includes watching the cartoon. And while I hate to make a choice based on first appearances, I definitely like the history behind House Steiner and the Lyran Commonwealth.

I don't have any plans to pilot an Atlas. While they are awesome, I'd much prefer something else that's also awesome... like the Awesome.

Although honestly I'm a fan of some of the light mechs like the Locust or the Hornet. I guess that doesn't make me a very good Steiner.

Congratulations on choosing a proper patron, and don't think being part of the armored infantry makes you any less a Steiner supporter. You're going into battle with naught a prayer and a popgun, that takes bravery.
