But you still have super pilots claiming everything is fine.
NO we just have a lot of scrubs that cant use simple game mechanics.
The NVA isnt the first mech to ever use a flamer, i use one on many mechs and stun lock my opponents when I fight them. They may not overheat but they aren't dissipating it either.
A certain forumwarrior i know has many a headshot from over heating mechs with flamers loooooooooong before the b33f thought it was cool.
Hes late to the party honestly.

Move as group instead of an isolated single.
Just like an light mech trying to take down an assault, a flamer Nova will die very fast if there is just a single teammate watching over you.
People who die to flamer Nova are probably very same people who feel light mechs are overpowered. Move as together and you will find flamer Novas are literally one-trick pony.

Eventually, the OP will learn how to 'git gud' or rage quit MWO. Either case would benefit his team.

It brings variety to the game and gives more purpose to light and medium mechs . i think the long range high alpha builds do more damage to this game than the flamer trolls .

In reality though, if I was able to kill you with the Flamer build....I also would have killed you with the standard 12xSPL build. And probably quicker, too.

I wish. I would love the dynamic that Plasma Rifles and Clan Plasma Cannons would add to the game.

But when you kill a Supernova or a Kodiak.....Priceless! And a deserved kill!
Most of the Peeps i saw it play didn't had the balls and the coolnes to hit the Pit
in that short Time.
And died .....

Exactly. This is the reason why the nova flamer is not OP. As i mentioned in another thread i played this build last year and i needed more than a month of focused training to get good enough with it to be able to contribute to my team as much as i do with other builds. In the first weeks i died horribly because either my target or the timing was wrong or simply because i missed the cockpit (most mechs have quick ignition which greatly reduces the time-window for a headshot).
Most of the guys who have seen B33f's video dreaming of easy kills and the guillotine achievement will probably be disappointed. In the end only a handful players are willing to spend some weeks on learning the build.
If you then happen to meet one of those and make a mistake then be it so. They probably would have killed you with any build. For example before i played the flamer nova i was into the 12spl build. I always killed more guys in a match with this simple laser-spam than i did with the flamer nova. I guess it makes no big difference if a player instantly gets killed by a 72dmg alpha to his CT or if it happens by a flamer-induced headshot. He's dead in both cases because he made a mistake.
BTW: I have not played the flamer nova for the last 4 months because though the build is fun it gets boring after a while.
So don't worry mechwarriors. The flamer nova will maybe a small trend for a few days/weeks and then most players realize how hard it is to play. Another few weeks later even the players who learned the build will probably get bored at some point and switch to other mechs.
