With the game's timeline advancing to the 3060s and the FedCom Civil War period, I'd like to suggest that PGI kick-off the move by doing a week-long event focused on Operation Guerrero of 3057, in which the Free Worlds League and the Capellan Confederation launched a limited campaign to recapture worlds taken by House Davion during the 4th Succession War.

Not only is Operation Guerrero a key event in precipitating the break-up of the Federated Commonwealth in the lore, but it would be a nice way in which to allow us loyalists in the "Southern Houses" to at least have some limited objectives that are immediately reachable for our Factions, as well as perhaps recapturing some of the intensity that flavored the first three months of Community Warfare in 2014-2015. it would also fit very nicely with the timeline advance and the introduction of cutting edge new Inner Sphere technology.

As a follow-on, PGI could then do the Great Refusal War between Clans Wolf and Jade Falcon in 3057 and then Operations Bird Dog, Bulldog, and Serpent in 3059-3060, in which the Great Houses united into the second Star League and then attacked and annihilated Clan Smoke Jaguar. Now that would be a mighty campaign to play out, followed then by the FedCom Civil War, and further trouble in the Clan occupations zones, with the Kurita-Ghost Bear war of 3062.

Would anybody else like to see these proposed events happen?

I, for one, do not want to see Clan Smoke Jaguar destroyed. Especially since we are doing so well.

I like the idea, but I would also like to see the remaining 3 Clans added and the other minor states added in. PGI could also do a fac map for just the Clans in Clan space.

I agree with you Josh, we need to have some events for the clan invasion before we move on to the Civil War Era.

Necro-bumping to the top, in light of the new mini-campaigns which PGI is planning.

I support this so much, i made a joking around suggestion under the current clans event saying it's time for the Marik civil war as well even though off-time line but w/e. Back in the days with 1FWG and MGA we joked about this a lot. But this sounds great too, and a good follow up on the Refusal war. Bump!

PGI dooooo it while you're on the FP event trip!

The Fed-Com Civil War in particular should be about a month long and also include matches where some Fed-Com are having to fight against Jade Falcon or Wolf (and some Wolf vs Jade Falon) due to both of those clans becoming embroiled in the war - to some degree - near it's end. Granted the Falcons were just being opportunistic and blooding their latest generation of warriors while seeking to solidify/expand their holdings in the IS more. Loved the one novel in particular where some Steiner loyalists go to greet another loyalist regiment that managed to survive it's battle against the Falcon's only to then discover that the regiment now consisted of only two exhausted mechwarriors and their severely damaged mechs.
