Sundays at 10pm EST.
How it works:

Each match will be a 1v1 fixture set on the Solaris map. Progression will be king of the hill style in that the winner stays on to compete against the next contestant.

The winning contestant gets to choose the weight class for the next round.

Popular MWO Twitch streamer, Father_Bill, has signed up for the event. See his work here and compete with him this Sunday.

I'm not sure if it's technical or concerns with the size of the player base, but in the mean time I'll see you Sundays at 10pm. Maybe enough activity around it will raise a Solaris mode's priority with PGI.

can we have some more info on types of mechs allowed, any restrictions, weight classes, MC only mechs or hero's? will weight classes be differentiated? etc... sounds like fun, and the time is pretty good. Thanks for putting this together.

Thanks for the interest and positive feedback.

I'd rather keep the rules to a minimum and add them as they become necessary. So starting off all mechs are fair game.

We also do not yet have enough participation to separate the weight classes. That is why I implemented the "King of the Hill" system where the winner of the match get's to select the tonnage for the next round.
