I didn't see it specifically mentioned but since your nodes are unlocked per chassis, does that mean when you activate them, they are active on all variants? What if you have a laser boat and a missile boat of the same chassis? Presumably you would either have to sacrifice nodes to maximize the capabilities of one or the other, but not both. Since you could purchase modules for lasers and for missiles and assign them to separate variants, can we have node assignments variant specific? Perhaps have a "clone loadout" option available for when you have variants that you want the same nodes active on without choosing them individually.

Nodes are Individual Mech Specific, not tied to variant or chassis.

So you can spec 2 different mechs of the same variant differently?

Yes. Of course, you have to spend twice as much to do it....even if you are speccing two identical mechs exactly the same. I dont mind spending again for a different layout, but they need a "Clone Variant" Button that allows you to copy a current build for a mech over to another identical mech without any cost.

They won't do a copy build for no cost, there will still be costs associated(that's the trade off for getting rid of the rule of 3). But Node Templates do need to be implemented.
