There are a good number of pilots who have been loyal MWO players since the beginning. They've reached the rank of Field Marshal, but have nowhere to go from there.

This is a real problem for the player population - many of these players will leave units and become mercs to seek further progression or just quit the game entirely.

We should allow multiple run-throughs of the loyalist rank progression. Players could even keep their current rank of Field Marshal and simply reap rewards. Another feature could be to add markers (e.g. row of stars up to five) to indicate which run through a pilot is on.

At the very least some kind of title could be awarded for those that continue to drop loyalist with new ranks to let other pilots know that they are a true loyalist.

I second this notion! I think it isn't fair that the more "loyalist" you are the less rewards you can get for it.

A prestige system would definitely help with retaining the player base and providing end-game content for maxed out loyalist pilots.
