I'm trying to make different drop decks and I'm looking for an easy to DL or to take a screen shot of which maps are hot or cold etc.

Thanks

http://mwo.gamepedia...egory:Battlemap has a list of maps. While not always up do date (e.g. still the old frozen city), it provides overviews of most maps and a bit of data like ambient temperature.

You can also play each map in the testing grouds to get a feel for it, e.g. how the temperature influences heat buildup and cooldown. Pressing default key 'b' will bring up the battlegrid, showing a fullscreen birds eye view of the map.

Stated temperatures on maps (meaning the "Ambient temps" listed above and below my post) are meaningless.

Each map fits a category:
Normal. No change.
Cold. Less than 20% colder conditions.
Super Cold. 20% or greater colder conditions.
Warm. Less than 20% warmer conditions.
Boiling. 20% or greater warmer conditions.
Holy shitballs. In the ballpark of 30 to 80% warmer conditions.

There are no "Cold" maps, only super cold maps currently. (Super cold being 20+ % "colder" heatsink conditions while cold would be in the ballpark of less than 20% "colder" heatsink conditions)
This site lists:
Super cold maps as cold. (But there's a huge gap of difference between what super cold is and what cold would be if you compare the hot maps).
Hot and Super Hot maps are listed under "Hot maps."
On this site, the holy shitballs category is listed as "Uncertain."
Uncertain areas are specific parts of maps, too. Such as Terra Therma lava and Caustic Valley's Caldera.

It hasn't been updated in a while due to the player quitting the game. As such it lacks certain maps, however the categories still stand as PGI has made no changes in how they classify their maps.

there is a dropdown where you can select the map and mode, in the bottom right corner is the maps ambiant temp (e.g. Terra Therma in the lava is warmer than ambiant)

There is barely any difference between hot and cold maps. Build for expected range of combat and terrain, not temperature.
