MWO Skill-Tree, Basic Intro Tutorial,
in this Video i will cover many Facets of the New Skill Tree,
as well as how SP(Skill Points) works and how to Purchase them,

i will also cover how different Nodes work,
as well as what you can Expect from the Skill Tree,


=Side Notes=
Magazine Capacity Node- works per Ton of Ammo,
the more Tons of ammo you have the greater the effect,
-
be careful if you only take one of these Nodes,
it will not give you ammo on AC20/Gauss with 1/2Tons of Ammo,
(node Rounds down 0.5 a shot = 0 Shots)
getting both nodes fixes this,

Gauss Charge- will extend how long you can Hold the Charge,
after its the weapon has been Fully Charged,

I think this has to be one of the most misleading things of the entire skilltree. It does not make the charge-up faster, you can only hold the charge longer. For me, it's a skip. Good on you to add it to your post.

i found out a couple of interesting things on the skill tree i wanted to share,
and i know many have been asking about how to do X Y Z because the New Skill Tree is abit daunting,
this way i can help as many as i can, and get the word out so people can get playing and having fun,

Also if you find something that i missed, Post it below, ;)

Thanks for this, but PGI screwed up by not posting an official tutorial at the same time as the patch notes. Probably would have been much less rage quitting.

While I appreciate the effort put forth in this video and huge kudos to you for doing it, am I the only one who finds it ridiculous that PGI themselves didn't make a video like this?

This could probably do with being stickied and linked in the game window pop up for players to see, if PGI are too busy to do an offical one then help us the community to help everyone.

Any insight into why PGI thought it best to spam us with over 200 nodes and 91 choices instead of, say, reducing the nodes (by increasing values per node) to say 100 nodes and 45 choices or something like that?

not sure, it is alot to go threw, but it does give more choices, though it can be abit daunting,

The previous Gauss charge nodes on PTS had 0.05s faster charge time, where you could get something like 0.2 faster (of 0.75 if I remember right).
To have longer charge-hold duration is quite nice, but I'm not sure I will need that. :)

Really nice job on the tutorial Andi. This should be pinned in the new player section and many of the veteran players who are uncomfortable with the new Skill Tree should view it also. It makes all the things that took me an hour to figure out very easy to understand in 18 minutes.
