Can we get some new variants on some of the original lines of mechs?
No heroes or special patters just some additional variants.
Possibly let people spend their massive pile of SP/HSP to buy the pack as an alternate to money, as a way to give pack to the long time players as well as a way to get rid of some of the massive stacks of new currency long time players have.
"founders" Reinforcement Pack

Does the Butterbee count?
I would like some more Hunchbacks, though. You can give it JJs to really annoy people!
You could also flip what happened to the Oxide and make a C-Bill version of the JR7-IIC-FY as a regular JR7. But then, do you do what happened with the Oxide > JR7-IIC and *add* hardpoints, or keep with the "IS tech must be inferior" and remove hardponts *and* JJs?
3B arms
1E torsos
JJs
Vs.
2B arms
1E CT
No JJs

I guess I don't have a really good answer for that.
My personal opinion would be to not power creep them because what I enjoy most about IS mechs is that they are limited and each tend to have a unique feel about them even if they have similar hardpoints.
At the same time though, the newer mechs completly invalidate a lot of original mech simply by having better hardpoints/locations so its a tough call. I care much less about lore/canon that most so if they were entirely original setup it wouldn't bother me in the least.
Would be nice to see Commandos, Atlases, Dragons and Centurions (Some of the most under used mechs) get some more flavors.

I have literally not used my Founder mechs since the game moved to open beta. I was hoping when the new tech comes in I might be able to refit them to be a little more interesting and breathe some new life into those old dogs.

Something that would probably be interesting in terms of design and play is if they were the first "experiments" in mixed tech. Limited hardpoints with limited selection to both techs.

I missed founder by days. Wouldn't be opposed to it being limited to founders, but it would be a great way to get rid of those piles of new currency that the long term vets have accumulated.
