As a pug player in a solo unit, I'm thinking of swapping factions in hopes of coming across a couple of wins for the event. Unfortunately, I've got five days left on my current contract. My questions are:
1) how does one go about breaking a contract? I don't see anything in the contract UI that would allow me to jump ship on my current contract.
2) what are the penalties like for breaking a contract? I'm pretty flush with cbills at the moment, so that wouldn't bother me much, but a timeout before I could pick up a new contract would defeat the purpose.
Any dirty contract breaking scoundrels out there able to advise?
Thanks

There is no more contract breaking. Jump into the star league hub or another unit hub and drop with a group. You'll get two wins faster that way.

Thanks for the response and the advice. I actually just gritted my teeth and decided to pug it out, and to my surprise and delight it only took about six games for me to get my two victories--not nearly as bad as I had expected from past experience. I lucked into a match with an 8 man MS group on my team, and another match where we had an amalgam of two or three smaller unit groups, and good callers in each case. A little bit of organization and communication really does make all the difference in this mode. When IS units are in the field working together, victories are certainly possible.
