Welp... lately Assetto Corsa was way more interesting than MW:O was for me ...
Fiddling around with the KTM Xbow R to make it go sub 7 minutes around Tourist Nordschleife, so I don´t really know what´s happening in MW:O-landia

Good luck with those issues though guys.

also even if there is a known issue dont call your isp about it... all that will happen is you will wait forever to talk to several people as they ask u alot of question before they discover, YEP, there is a known issue. and there isnt a damn thing they can do about it.

then they will tell you if u keep having issues in a few days call back to see if there is still an issue.

absolutely redundant

i worked with my ISP and according to them with the trace routing and such its PGI's Server thats the issue not the ISP traffic , i have a good re-pore with my CS with my provider . seeing i can switch to EU and have no issues , go to NA and have all sorts of issues . my unit stopped operations for today due to the rubber ducking and DCs . frustrated them. Most of us are on the east coast U S too . its a PGI issue with there connection from that server farm . and the node in which is accessing it on that farm . and i have no other connectivity isssue with other games and applications that use a decent amount of bandwidth so YEAH , ITS OUR ISP (KAPPA)

I am sorry, but I have to call BS on the official PGI statement concerning lag. I had several matches with my unit consisting of guys from all over the planet. All of us and the guys on the other teams all had lag issues on several matches. If it was just me, I could buy off on it, but not everyone having the same issue from different countries.

Ok so Australia has no outages and neither does Singapore where the server is for OCE, and nowhere in between has any either.... but OCE is unplayable. Tell me again how it's not PGI?

Update: NA server is also unplayable from Australia it was fine for me last night all of 20 hours ago.

because its not your or our ISP's issue its the issue with the server farm where the server is in Montreal

It really makes the game unplayable, because it doesn't seem to effect everyone on the server.

Played some group queue with 2 buddies yesterday. All of a sudden all 3 of us had a massive lag, easily 30-45 sec. When we could see again what's going on, score was 0:5.

People on my team complained to have died during a massive lag, while the ememy team didn't seem to have problems making quick work of 5 absolutely helpless mechs.

The lag has had sporadic leaps in game the past week. My unit has players from all over the place. If we're experiencing lag spikes at the same time, in the same match, on different continents then it's likely not a massive global coincidence. It's the game server.

Well, given the explanation Alex G gave, it might aswell affect people from different continents if their connection is routed to the montreal server on ways that are affected by the issues.

Quote

Depending on your location, these problems might be intermittent; they might only be noticeably impacting your connection to the MWO NA servers due to the way your ISP is routing to our servers in Montreal.

The fact that not everyone on the server in one match is affected by those lags the same time (i killed people who obviosly lagged out while not having lag, and i was killed by people not having lag while i had 30+ sec lags) can mean that the issue is, like PGI said, not a fault of their servers, but an issue with the connection to the server, which doesn't affect everyone the same way.
