i pilot dragon > 95% of the time, and out of those >70% in a FANG.

I'm not a one mech guy.. But i have a handfull that are in the 300-400+ range.. then its a big drop down to the 100 game average, then others are more like 20-30..


So yea i can see that. Personally i'd rather have someone in something they do well in, verse what is the flavor of the month. PS don't yell at me to much if you ever see me in my ERPPC nova.. man do i need to practice with ERPPC's! But stick me in my 4 ML+SL+Machine gun nova, and i can regularly hit 500-600. Most folks run novas with small pulse, or just small's. But hey if it works for ya right?

what do you run in your fang? I'm doing AC10+2 LPL's and love it.. really hope i can squeeze in a UAC10 when new tech drops with a tiny bit of armor scrapping

While I occasionally play other mechs(mostly other Lights, though I do troll around in an ON1-K sometimes), my main is still the humble MPLx2 MLX.

I always stay to a certain mech that fits me right, until i find another one that fits me better. I have many "sidemechs" but they don't have a whole lot of drops (around 50 for most of them), but all my mechs are mastered. I mostly use the "other" mechs in CW, which i played a god damn lot for a long time. I got my mech diverstiy there, which leads to low drop numbers on many mech, because CW didn't count into stats for a very long time.

When you saw me in QP, you would have seen me in (with a chance of like 90+%)

1) Atlas (Only DDC after mastered) from CB up until the HGN was released. Literally didn't buy one other mech for all the time.
2) HGN until it was nerfhammered to oblivion
3) Victor until the Banshee was released.
4) Banshee until the clans were released.
5) Timber until the Dire was released for cbills.
6) Dire until it slowly fell out of meta due to various reasons.
7) Mauler MX90 until the KDK was released. (with some Black Widow and Marauder 3R mixed in there)
8) Spirit Bear until they hit it with (imo) over the top nerfs
9) Night Gyr from the second it was released.

Nowadays, you won't see me anywhere, because i'm playing on my alt. account that i won't reveal. But i'm using 75% Night Gyrs, 25% MAD IIC.

I'll play this account again once the MADCAT IIK is released, which will be the only mech you will see me in for months.

I have 2 mechs, a raven 4x with 2x MLAS and 2xMachine Guns, with an AMS and jj's and a locust with 2x Srm 2's and 2x Srm 4's. Depending on how im feeling is what i will play, I really like the jump jets, and the raven is the first mech i played when i first started years ago. The locust I only recently picked up and I've loved every speedy little second of it. Those poor Dire Whales turning desperately trying to avoid all my missiles only to splode...shortly before their whole team realizes what I've just done and chases me down...

2ac5 + 2erll before quirks

ac10 + 3erll from quirks till now

ac10 + erppc or lpl + 2ml if i want more mobility

i do enjoy, ac10 + 2 lpl, but i mainly play on oceanic, skirmish phase tends to be longer there so i prefer brawl capable long range builds

What can I say, I love my KDK5 man, every time I use something different it just makes me wanna KDK5 again.

You can call it insane if you want, but I am not repeatedly using it expecting a different result, I am using it because the results are on average very good.

If one type of kick floors all your opponents why ever practice the other 9999?

For some reason I seem to notice the light pilots than are One Mech Pilots more than meds/heavy/assaults. I don't know if it's because they are the most annoying or what. Generally they tend to be VERY lone-wolf players and the end of the matches usually consists of them the last one alive while we chase them down for the remaining 10 mins. Off the top of my head:

Fox with a shotgun in a KFX-C 2x PPC
Lyen/Mitsubishi Zero in RVN-3L 3xLL (never narcs!)
war_glaivez who i'm convinced aim bots in his 6x ML ARCTIC CHEETER
pie4k who seems to be running LCTs every match
hisownballs i think always in an ACH, will waste minutes running/kitting if last alive
Mechwarrior80randomnumbers in his COM that goes for legs only with his SRMs

I know there's many more but it's only generally the lights that make me rage enough to remember.

Honorable Mention to TT Boy in his career streak dog for killing me many times in my own lights.

Actually I don't know how you could do it, you get to a point where you are just stupidly bored (sure it's fine if you like trolling because you know the in and out of your mech well for most people but some of them has a lot to be desired still.

But if you notice the Kill / Death ratio of those players it gone down since the post skill tree as you can't have everything you had before so you have to sacrifice things especially about the light mech players. Don't get me wrong some of those players can make it work still.

Then again I wouldn't know anything about being the one trick pony

Short version: it's what I feel most comfortable with.

Long version: the qualities of the MPLs, combined with the mobility of the MLX, ECM, a TC1, and an extra heat sink make it a very satisfying ride. Hell, I took on a Rifleman and an SPL Cheeto at the same time with that little mechs, and nearly won. Skill tree is very important. JJ tree, enhanced ECM, and weapon heat gen nodes make it a very cool mechs.

I could be wrong here but it looked like the OP was asking for people to name other players they've seen that just run one mech. And then most people just proceed to talk about themselves lol.

On topic though i'm not sure right now but if you'd asked a good while back, i would've said Jman and his hunchback.

Yeah, me, back then tho when I had limited CB to buy mechs lol.. My most played mech is the Jagermech-s, I remember buying it at night and then using a triple UAC5 as my first build and from that moment was when I started to fell in love with it, then I experiment it with different build like dual ac20, quad-ac2, dual gauss, etc.

But now yeah, I got bunch of mechs, well not really, just got around 30, mostly heavy mech and I started to play Assaults too now, it's fun but just slow..
