The big mountain on the side of the pass (opposite where the tunnel is) needs a big undermountain factory/cave/warehouse area which will create a third option for movement.

This undermountain cavern should be huge, big enough for missiles to arc inside a bit, lots of crates, forklifts and stuff with exits at each end so as to create a third path through/around the mountain. (I consider the current tunnel and flank through the city as one path.)

One thing for sure is that the platform, while a lot of fun to play above and below on, is old. Gotta find a way to create more options for tactics.

With a big cavern, you could put a spawn point in it too, and put the other spawn point in the water way opposite for one or more game modes.

(As an aside, a map that is all subterranean would be really cool, too. This cavern could be a test bed for this.)

This is a probably-wont-be-implemented really good idea.

Since the water table is so high it would be neat to have so of the subterranean spaces be flooded.
