I have no idea how it would play in practise but FLORENTINE is how I'd first build it if I got it. Would prefer to fill that second missile hardpoint too since (apparently) single srm launchers aren't very meta
EDIT: I guess it's possible if you drop the ACs down to 2s? FLORENTINE (little potatoes)

Well, I do not own one, sothe builds are not tested... I would try them IF I had a Heroic Crab.
Just for info: I run XLs only. Even on my assaults, so if you want a zombie crab, skip this post.
Just for info2: The standard Engine is XL250. I switched it to XL 255, just because it is 1,6 KPH faster without downsides. But its a nearly non existant advantage at cost of ~4.000.000 cbills. Your choice.
Just for info3: The new tech patch will change a lot, because of lightferro and LFEs... or rocketlounches just for lols...

Following builds are for you, if you want to stay by your forces and don't expose your self for to long. Shoot your UACs twice and disappear. The mediums are for alphas if the enemy is close enough and for backup if your uacs jam:
FLORENTINE
If you want a better backup weapons you can use MPLs instead. You need to strip some armor than and you will lose some range, making your alphas weaker overall:FLORENTINE
An other way, (nearly) the same playstyle could be that:
FLORENTINE
...UAC5 could be switched to an otherside if you dont like asym builds.
...you can drop a ton and a half of ammo in this build and get a better engine (XL280 for 90kph untweaked speed)...or an AMS with a ton of ammo.

I do not like crab as a brawler but here is an attempt to make one... CRAWLER... haha... ha... not funny?
Lose alpha, twist your armed torso side out of danger... Or backstab someone by opening his back with SMRAs and shooting LBX then.
CRAWLER
You could build in a smaller engine for more armor or a SPL or two...

I came 7th in the Resistance Hero leaderboards after going trough several alternative loadouts and ending up with dual LB10X, like this:

The downsides are an awkwardly small engine, low and wide arms and barely enough ammo to last trough the match even with ammo bin skill nodes. The downsides to other loadouts just felt even worse, so this is the one I was the most successful in despite the drawbacks. The LB10X is a pet weapon of sorts for me so your mileage may wary.

EDIT Forgot to include Skill Tree: https://kitlaan.gitl...4c-971de3aca05c

If you want to be more competitive, shave some nodes off other things and put in 2 fully skilled Air Strikes. They are just that good.

This is how I'm running mine.

It isn't hyper-amazing, but it offers a mix of capabilities without sacrificing speed. Using the ballistic hardpoints just felt too awkward. Maybe I'll put LB5X on when CW comes around, though.

I'm not having much luck using the ballistic arms without going asymmetrical (which is painful for me) so I just went for some ticklers on the clamps.

You could just do a simple dual UAC5 build with an LFE for some tanking.

You could also keep the stock engine in it and go with RAC5s but not be tanky.

I think if I were to get it. I would try 1xAC10, 2xSnub PPC, LFE225, have to strip opposite arm armor off. It's like the mini version of my Orion. Not sure how well it would do though.
