No update, just that HG tried to file a delay motion and PGI and HBS filed motions saying HG was just delaying or so it was explained so far.

wait, that might be why PGI extended the event for another week since no one is in the office. HG made them sick enough to puke out and flushed away so they are now in recovery!!!

It feels to me that HG is desperate to keep that Sony movie deal going, but that maybe dependent on how Sony views HG's hold on this so called franchise.

Sony would probably rather wait and make a macross movie anyway, if the Battle Angel Alita one does better than GiTS did. Robotech is really a small market for a movie. It'd play okay in the USA, Canada, and thats well...it. Macross has much greater international appeal in terms of demographics/populations that have seen it. Probably would be done in combination with a company like Legendary Pictures (the company that brought us the 2014 Godzilla and King Kong last year).

A sur-reply?! That smacks of desperation to me. Only time I see that is from overly anxious, needy lawyers who just HAVE to have the last word. They annoy the hell out of judges because they never have anything new, it’s rehashing everything the proponent argued in his last three briefs.
