tina threw down the gauntlet and we need to play 20 games to get free stuff. im not about to let pgi win, so we got to play. i gave them money because i wanted a game and they gave us a competition instead. catering to the highest rung while those of us who play for fun get the scraps. its our time for payback. i for one will be playing to win so that things are "in the spirit of competition". im actually curious how i rank up with the comp players. but i dont expect much. our team is locked in and this is our shot.

anyway we should try to coordinate a schedule, like if we could do 5 games a weekend durring the closed seeding or get one in whenever we got time. i tend to play towards the latter half of the na phase and bleed into the head of the oceanic cycle. i usually log on every day at least for a couple games. just post your play times and we will figure something out.

I don't see an official post here on the forums, where is the #20 coming from? And Is that 20 total or 20 between now and Sept. 15th when closed seeding ends?

it has also been added to the rewards page for the tourney as well. im really supprised something like that wasnt there to begin with. everyone knew there was a big question mark about how many games we would have to play, we all just assumed it was one or two. still if 20 games is participation then we just got to schedule some games.

Well, it's kinda lame of them to go changing things quietly like this, but it's kinda lame of us to jump on the mc bandwagon, a lot of random teams were created a couple of days ago on the basis of "1 match free mc".

Those teams will struggle to meet the match quota I suspect.

Either way I'll be trying to take our lot through those games, it's a fun experience for all that we're filthy casuals. "Beating the spread" is a phrase invented for such situations, right?

tomorrow sounds like its what were looking for. sounds like its coordinated between a large number of casual comp teams so chances for drops are high. if this time slot works out i can schedule it for other days as well. also watching the roster to get an idea of what times people are logged in. looks like later evening games seem to be preferred as i tend to see more people on after dinner than before. dont worry tomorrow im just throwing something in the oven, no over-elaborate sunday dinner.

yea i kind of got fed up too. tired of sitting around staring at the thing trying to convince everyone to play. i hate to let pgi win though.
