When I try to start the game or running the repair tool, it fails with the message "unable to connect to the remote server".

When I try to redownload the game using the huge, blue download button I get connection timeout on http://patcher.mwome...alInstaller.exe

It's been like this for a week or so, so it doesn't seem like a transient error.

Stuff I've tried that did not work:

• Switching to Google DNS
  
• Changing browser (Chrome, FF, curl)

Stuff not tried yet:

• Installing via Steam

Is Steam the only viable method to install the game now?
