how many others are having major issues with the OC servers again? i'm getting pings from 300-400 (should be 100-140) and extremely unstable.
It appears that either another cables shat itself again., or coincidentally the OC servers are failing again in time for the OC teams at worlds to have any advantage removed.

I'm with iinet, so am routed out via western Australia but have had others affected as well.
I've tried the old tweet russ to get a response and heard nothing (no shock )

Looks to be a (nother) cable issue between Aus and Singapore. Routes are all going the long way.

Will probably start to see news being reported today. I'll update if I see anything more.

EDIT: http://www.zdnet.com...a-cable-outage/

Good ol' SMW3 again.

Out until the 13th October, so Australian players will all be playing with high pings not matter the server. NA should get better pings to Singapore than Australian players.

It's not PGIs fault that the cable keeps going down, but you would have thought the risk of cables going down, and the known issue of long ISP routing through Sydney would have been part of the due diligence when selecting the server location to be in Singapore.

All 3 servers are selected and in Oceanic prime time (Australia) the Oceanic server only appears once if your lucky in a night, have played from 10am to 12 midnight (14 hours) and been lucky to see the server 3 times, Euro server seems to be the default pick for us here and that means some really bad ping.

Just to keep things current, the break has been repaired but they're detecting a new fault on the cable. Might be mid-October anyway.
